Thursday August 21 - Canada is amazing

So this whole blogging thing is apparently not completely my thing haha most of the nights I am too lazy to write something. However we have had an amazing time the past couple of days!
On Monday we left Seattle to take the ferry from Anacortes to Sidney (B.C.). Sidney is located on Vancouver Island. However, we did not stay in Sidney but we stayed in Victoria. The first night we went to Butchart gardens which is a massive park with beautiful flowers and plants. It was so pretty and there was also a concert with jazzy music so it was absolutely perfect.
Then on Tuesday we looked around in Victoria, which is a beautiful beautiful place. I really loved it there. We started the day at a castle which was like looking inside the Downton Abbey building! One side of the building was for the family that lived there and the other side for the servants. Really cool to see. After that we visited the Cathedral and the Marina area. In the evening we looked around the downtown area and had dinner at the Old Spaghetti Factory which is famous in that city. It was an amazing two days in a beautiful city!
On Wednesday we drove from Victoria to Campbell River (where we are now) and we looked around and went to Tim Hortons for the first time (coffee and sandwiches place with really good bagels). For dinner we went to a place near the marina and I had BBQ Dino Bones which were massive spare-ribs, as you can imagine those were great.
Today we first got me a Canadian phone nr and phone so I am all set now for the new school year. I instagrammed from it and sent a snapchat (you should add me: michellehagman if I don't have you on snapchat/instagram already). And then we went to a Salmon Hatchery which was super cool to see. After that we went to Elk Falls which were beautiful as well.
I have used great, amazing and beautiful way too often in this piece but it is truly fantastic here and I wouldn't know how to describe it differently. Although it is great here, I see a lot of photos of the UCR (old school) introduction and that makes me miss that place as well. I am quite jealous of those who still have some time left to spend there! However, for me those times are over and I get to enjoy the beautiful land of Canada now, and so far I am absolutely loving it!!!
